The Eagle Falls/Eagle Lake is one of the most popular hikes on Tahoe's West/South shore. A short 1/4 mile hike puts you at the falls with beautiful views. If you hike just a little further you will end up at Eagle Lake which provides views of Tahoe's backcountry and Desolation Wilderness. The trail is very busy during the summer, especially on weekends, so you might want to plan accordingly.
To access the trail head to Emerald Bay on Hwy 89. You will see the trailhead at theend of the Eagle Falls parking area. Parking fees apply if you park in main parking lot. In the summer you can park on Hwy 89.
